Bobbie is an independent design publication initiated, designed and developed as a self-directed project. The work includes the creation of the brand identity, editorial language, visual system and digital platform. I established the name, logo, typographic direction and overall tone of the publication while also designing and building the website interface and reading environment.
The project investigates how editorial structure and digital product design intersect. The platform was developed to support long-form interviews and essays, with particular attention given to typography, layout rhythm and information hierarchy. Navigation, spacing and pacing were designed to encourage focused reading while maintaining a clear and accessible structure across the site.
Bobbie also functions as a cultural and research project. As founder and creative director, I define the editorial direction, commission and conduct interviews, and shape the voice of the publication. Through conversations with designers, architects and independent practitioners, the platform collects perspectives on creative work, career paths and contemporary design culture. The project explores how a small digital publication can operate as both a design system and an evolving archive of ideas.
